About Wrexham Glyndwr

Wrexham Glyndwr University (Prifysgol Glyndŵr Wrecsam) is a UK-based university offering both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees to international students. Formerly known as the North East Wales Institute (NEWI), it gained full university status in 2008 after being a member of the University of Wales since 2004. The university is named after the medieval Prince of Wales, Owain Glyndŵr.

The University of Wrexham Glyndŵr strives to contribute to the economic and social development of North Wales. It has strong connections with numerous local and regional companies, such as Airbus, Kellogg, JCB, and BBC. These experiences and in-depth industry knowledge are incorporated into the course content to ensure that students meet the demands of the job market after graduation and adapt quickly to the rapid developments in the 21st-century industries.
